Avguste Antonov

Pianist Avguste Antonov leads an active career as soloist and teacher. He is Artist in Residence at The Master's Touch School of Music & Performing Arts, LLC. in Grapevine (Texas) and enjoys a vigorous performing schedule.

Avguste Antonov has presented recitals in Bordeaux (France), Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, Florida, Pennsylvania, Texas, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee and has performed extensively with the University of Kansas Wind Ensemble, University of Kansas Symphony, Symphonic Choir and the Texas Christian University Wind Symphony. Performance venues include the Music Education National Convention with the University of Kansas Wind Ensemble and the College Band Directors National Association with the Texas Christian University Wind Symphony.

He has been featured as soloist with the Alton Symphony Orchestra, the Tulsa Camerata, the San Jose Wind Symphony, the Trevecca Symphony Orchestra, the Hardin-Simmons University Orchestra, the Kansas City Medical Arts Symphony, the University of Kansas Symphony and the University of Kansas Wind Ensemble.

Mr. Antonov is a dedicated performer of 20th and 21st century American living composer, and has performed World and USA premieres at venues across North America. Over the years, he has worked with composers Carter Pann, Raina Murnak, Matthew Lewis, Till Meyn, Matthew Saunders, Robert Rollin, William Vollinger and others. In 2012, Avguste Antonov was a music reviewer for the Society of Composers, Inc Region 6 Convention.

During the 2013-2014 season, Avguste Antonov will perform in Texas, Ohio, New Jersey, New York, Colorado, Kansas, California and Washington. Highlights of the season include a performance of Carter Pann "Concerto Logic", a performance at the residence of the Bulgarian Ambassador and the recording/release of his long awaited debut CD.

Upcoming projects include premiere performances of a new piano concerto by composer Matthew Saunders during the 2014-2015 season.

Avguste Antonov is a member of the Association of Concert Bands.
